Too Little , Too Late?

Over the years, I've had a number of PDAs and smartphones, including devices from Palm. My last Palm handheld was a Treo - great device, but the evolution of Palm seemed to come to a crawl, while others (RIM, Apple, and even Windows Mobile) leapfrogged them.
With the success of the Apple iPhone App Store, the launch of the Google Android store, and expected mobile app stores from RIM and Windows, it isn't surprising that Palm would try to get into the app store game. Unfortunately, I can't help but wonder if it's too little too late. Sad to see such a formerly, great brand languish.
Wireless Connectivity - Palm's App Store Now Available on Its Mobile Devices
Palm has debuted its Palm Software Store, an app store where Palm device users can buy and download directly from their mobile devices. Palm's Software Store will support more than 25 Palm devices, including the Centro and Treo Pro. Palm's Software Store joins a crowded mobile-device app-store market, including Apple's App Store.
