The
EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI) has a great monthly series called
7 Things You Should Know About... Each brief provides a concise two-page synopsis on a single emerging learning technology, describing:
- What it is
- How it works
- Where it is going
- Why it matters to teaching and learning
Suggested uses include:
- faculty development,
- bringing senior administrators up to speed (always a good thing), and
- keep yourself up-to-date
They're not all strictly Web 2.0, but great resources nonetheless. Surprisingly, ELI doesn't provide an RSS feed to keep up-to-date with their briefings. Spend some time exploring the site. I think you'll find some really useful materials. Here are links to recent
