Enterprise 2.0: Google Apps + Salesforce.com

Google announced today Salesforce.com for Google Apps. This partnership combines the online CRM (Customer Relationship Management) powerhouse Salesforce.com with the collaboration tools of Google Apps.

Adrienne Barbeau, the Writer's Strike and the Long Tail

English Professor and colleague Jack Ryan is friends with actress Adrienne Barbeau. He pointed me to this really well-done and engaging video that she pointed him to during the recent writer's strike. It's interesting that television and movie production companies are realizing the tremendous potential revenues available through digital storage and distribution of their content. A great example of Chris Anderson's "The Long Tail." Unfortunately, it seems the movie and TV studio were unwilling to share The Long Tail. Video below.
